My First Attempt At Glass Fusing!!! :-D

I can't wait to get a kiln in my classroom to experiment with. Some of the more layered pieces probably could have used more time in the heat to help make the edges lay down better and become smoother, but I have to start somewhere. More to come, stay tuned...

Museum Day and Glass Fusing!

Yesterday was Austin Museum Day. It was so... much fun, and free. I had a great day. My student teacher, Kelly and I will be attending a glass fusion workshop this afternoon! I can't wait. I've been wanting to learn how to do this for a while, and hopefully be able to start teaching it soon. Oh, how I love art! :-D

My New Hair...

I finally got my hair the color I've been wanting. Yay! The wonderful and talented Rina Lee at Image Perfect in Leander did it for me.

Wild Things and Cool Stuff

I am working on NOT doing self-portraits, and/or journaling through paintings and drawings... Eh... it's not going so great, hard habit to break and all. Here is me trying something new. It's still in progress, but I think it's interesting. Hope everyone's week is off to a good start. Mine seems to be. :-)
